Product Description

The bronze bracelet is designed with inspiration from the pillars and columns of Göbeklitepe.
Adjustable.
Bronze will tarnish over time and under certain conditions. We find this a positive feature of bronze because the patina gives depth, character and an antique like look.

Göbeklitepe
The site of Göbeklitepe, situated six miles from Urfa, in southeastern Turkey, dates back 11000 years—some 6000 years earlier than Stonehenge—and is the oldest center of worship of its size. It is among the most important finds in modern archaeology.
It forces us to reevaluate our views of the Neolithic period and human history. At a time when humans were thought to be simple hunter gatherers, we find the first domesticated wheat and temples that use advanced architectural techniques.
The site is richly adorned with symbolic imagery, reflecting the lost world-view of a complex prehistoric people.
Their imagery is dominated by strange and fascinating animal carvings and figures, depicting scorpions, foxes, bulls, snakes, wild boars, lions, pikes, and wild ducks.
